![]() Ive seen other similar reviews on similar HP products about this "Beats Audio" - since buying this and now I am having some serious remorse over this purchase. I dont know how else to say to emphasise except It doesnt work, at least not for human ears. ![]() These negative issues dont seem to change significaly using any other music player. Songs are virtually unpleasant to listen to even on my external speakers or otherwise. I cant use the Winamp equalizer as it seems to be block and the Beats Equalizer is not performing at all. Secondly im hearing tonal bass an treble ajustments - either permanent or dynamic that distort the quality of the sound to the point that the music is unrecognizable as a entertainment product. The first noticable thing is that the volume is flat no matter how loud or quiet a song is, it seems to attempt to dynamicaly adjust the volume so its always the same, meaning in acutallity im constanly hearing fluctiations of the volume though there is no significant volume range nor musically speaking no cd quality or even near studio quality range. I noticed this horrid sound first when attempting to play music on Winamp over both laptop speakers and my external speakers specifically which have performed wonderfully for me in the past. So I bought this HP envy m6-k022dx ( with beats audio logos on the top left monitor side and speaker console) late last week but to be honest this thing's sound output is so bad im about to return it to the store.
